Laptop power adapter can be mixed?

My laptop's AC adapter is broken, I still have an old laptop. Can I use the old laptop's AC adapter to a new laptop?  If I use the old laptop's AC adapter to a new laptop, whether it will harm to my new laptop?

In general, the same brand of laptop power adapter, as long as the same wattage, the same interface, can be mixed. But do not recommend different brands or different wattage power adapter mix. Because of the different output wattage, it may cause harm to the laptop, such as voltage instability.

At present, the power of notebooks on the market is generally 90 watts and 65 watts, using integrated graphics, or low-end notebook configuration, is generally 65 watts. The use of independence alone, the configuration of high-end, or video games, are generally 90-watt. If the laptop's AC adapter is damaged can not be used, it is best to send the adapter to repair department to repair as soon as possible. If it is for emergency, check whether the two adapter output power and current voltage is the same before use. as the adapter's input current and voltage is not important to the general household voltage is 220V, so almost all laptop power Adapter is 100-240V ~ 1.5A words, as long as the output current and voltage values, and the same wattage, and then the same interface, you can mix. In general, the voltage stability, the same output wattage, no harm to the laptop.
Need to explain: Generally stated on the power AC adapter output voltage and current number, did not indicate the wattage, you need to calculate. Just the number of voltage and current multiplied by the number that is wattage. Multiplying the current by the voltage is equal to the wattage.
